East of Elsewhere
East of Elsewhere began as a project space hosting exhibitions, ‘at homes’ and an artist residency. Located in the living room of an East Berlin apartment, East of Elsewhere was founded in September 2017. Created to foster an intimate experience of contemporary art, the project exhibits emerging artists and emphasizes experimentation. In its second year, East of Elsewhere takes shape as a curatorial collective, hosting site-specific exhibitions. East of Elsewhere continues to explore the possibilities in a blurred division between domestic and creative space, in Berlin and beyond.
